About Ariel and Joanne

Ariel Tolentino, MD, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, FNP-BC is a highly respected clinician, educator, and founder of Tolentino NP Reviews. With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, he is uniquely positioned to help NP students understand complex clinical content to be successful in the boards.

His unwavering dedication to the medical profession and education drives his passion for holding free NP study group sessions and humanitarian projects through his non-profit medical mission group - the League of Volunteers for Relief Expeditions that serves indigent communities and remote tribal villages in the Philippines.

At Tolentino NP Reviews, we embody Dr. Tolentino’s values and mission to empower and support NPs be the best they can be. We are committed to impart effective learning strategies, educational support, and test preparation resources to assure test success!

Joanne Ventrella, BSW, RN, LNHA has worked in healthcare for over 30 years, serving as an administrator in subacute care, registered nurse, and social worker. Joanne was honored by the Illinois Healthcare Association and Legacy Healthcare as Administrator of the Year in 2020. Since 2017, she has served on the board of directors for the League of Volunteers for Relief Expeditions supporting relief operations in areas of need in the Philippine archipelago.

As the administrator for Tolentino NP Reviews, Joanne oversees operations and support services. Joanne is thrilled to see our growing NP learning community and our students succeed on the boards!
